Senior Golf Swing Technique

Focus on Follow Thru

As we get older our ability to get the most out of our golf swing tend to change.  Hitting drives 280 yards or more seem now are only going 240 yards or less.  Check out this simple golf swing technique that will help you get more distance.

One part of the golf swing that can be disastrous if not done correctly has to do with your follow thru.  This is the one thing that can rob your swing of precious distance.  Your follow thru will not only affect distance, but will a cause you to have problems with making proper contact with the ball.

Here is a short video goes over the mistakes that are made in the follow thru and how to correct them.

This one free golf swing technique video will help you improve your follow thru and get more distance out of your golf shots.

Although this video comes from a Senior DVD training series, this golf swing technique applies to golfers of all ages.  It really doesn’t matter what your age is, not having the proper follow thru will affect your distance and contact with the ball.

This is the biggest issue I see with most amateurs golfers.  Next time you are wondering what might have gone wrong with your last shot, review your follow thru.

Focusing on your follow thru is one golf swing technique that all golfers should do.

Simple Golf Swing Technique – Chip Like a Putt

Simple Golf Swing Technique – Chip like a Putt

golf swing techniqueWhen you are around the greens, try to chip like you putt.  This simple golf swing technique can help you gain consistency and shave strokes off your game.

Many golfers who struggle with chip shots do so because they allow their wrists to break during the backswing.  This leads to what is commonly referred to as “a classic chunk shot” or worse the dreaded skulling of the ball clear across the green.  In either case, you are left with either another chip shot or a long putt.

Here is a simple golf swing technique that will help you.
