Free golf tips – Golf Warm Up Exercise
Whenever I go head out to practice or play golf, I always make sure that I take time to do some golf warm up exercises. I’m not talking about going to the gym for a rigorous workout.
This is the golf warm up exercise Routine I use:
a.) Start with some simple neck rolls - Relax your shoulders, put your chin down to your chest and slowly roll your head to the right. Then slowly roll your head back to the left. Be sure to use a slow motion to get a full stretch to loosen your neck. Do this golf warm up exercise about 10 to 15 times.
b.) Next I like to do some shoulder rolls - Stand with your feet shoulder width apart looking forward. Lift your shoulders up and roll them to the back and down. Do this golf warm up exercise 10 or 15 times.
Standing with your feet about shoulder width apart and your knees slightly bent. Take your driver and hold the driver with the grip in your right hand and the hosel in your left hand. Keep your feet firmly planted on the ground.
This exercise starts with my arms outstretched at chest height in front of your body. Begin by rotating to the right as far as you can and then slowly rotate back to left as far as you can.
Be sure to use a slow fluid motion to avoid pulling a muscle while getting maximum benefit from the rotation. Do this golf warm up exercise 15 to 20 times in both directions.c.) Next raise your driver over top of your head and do side bends - Start by bending as far as you can to your right side keeping your arms straight. Slowly reverse the motion bending as far as you can to you left side. Do this golf warm up exercise 15 to 20 times in both directions.
Be sure to keep your feet firmly planted on the ground.
d.) Next using the same stance and holding the driver the same way raise your arms above your
head and bring the shaft of club down behind your head.
Now twisting at the waist, slowly rotate to the right as far as possible and the reverse this action and rotate back to the left as far as possible. Do this golf warm up exercise with an easy fluid motion 10 to 15 times.
e.) Keeping the club in the same position as the previous exercise, perform side bends - Start by bending to the right as far as possible and then bend back to left as far as you can. Again, do this 10 to 15 times.
f.) Bring your driver back in front of you and continue to hold the club with your right hand on the grip and the left hand on the hosel.
This time you will swing the club in a pendulum fashion. With your feet shoulder with apart, bend your knees slightly, your arms hanging down and bent slightly at the waist, swing the club in a pendulum fashion. This motion is similar to your normal golf swing.
Do not rotate around your body, rather keep your swing as upright and square as possible. Do this golf warm up exercise 10 to 15 times.
g.) Last but not least, holding the golf club in front of you, arms hanging towards the ground, bend over at the waist reaching down as far as you can - Try to touch the top of your shoes with the shaft of your club. Straighten up and then bend down again. Do this last golf warm up exercise 15 to 20 times.
Now your muscles should be loosened up and ready to go. This entire golf warm up exercise routine should take no more than about 5 minutes to complete.

These exercises are the ones I use to loosen up before my game!
