In another display of dominance on the PGA Tour, Tiger Woods wins the BMW Championship at Cog Hill Golf & Country Club outside Chicago. Tiger shot a course record nine under par 62 on Saturday to take control of the tournament. He was able to cruise on Sunday, finishing with an 8 stroke victory.

With his 71st win on Tour and 5th at Cog Hill Tiger Woods regains first place in the FedEx Cup. In two weeks the final 30 players will head to the Tour Championship at East Lake Country Club in Atlanta for the final leg of the FedEx Cup Championship. Tiger will arrive with a 250 point lead over Steve Stricker.

The victory marks Tiger’s 6th win on tour this year and no matter what happens at the Tour Championship should make him a shoe in for the Player of the Year award. After undergoing season ending surgery on his left knee in 2008, Tiger has once again proven that he is the man to beat on tour.

It appears that Tiger is once again dialed in and poised to finish the year with another FedEx Cup.
