Simple Golf Swing Technique – Chip like a Putt

Many golfers who struggle with chip shots do so because they allow their wrists to break during the backswing.  This leads to what is commonly referred to as “a classic chunk shot” or worse the dreaded skulling of the ball clear across the green.  In either case, you are left with either another chip shot or a long putt.

Here is a simple golf swing technique that will help you.

How to Improve Your Short Game in Golf

In order to lower your handicap and improve your scores, you need to know how to improve your short game in golf.  Watching the Masters this year was a prime example of why this is true.

If you know anything about Phil Mickelson you know that he is one of the masters of the short game. Very few players can make some of the shots that he makes around the green.  Being able to improvise around the green was one of the big reasons Phil won the Masters tournament this year.

If you read golf magazines you will find tips about the short game in just about every issue.  Knowing how to improve your short game in golf is more important than hitting 300 yard drives, but the average golfer spends more time practicing their drives than they do practicing their short game.

I have spent many hours working on improving my short game over the years and my ability to recover around the green improved because of the practice.  Of course, this helped me to lower my scores and in the process I won more bets with my buddies.
