Tickets to the Masters

Golf is one of those sports that you either love or hate.  I am an avid golfer and I really love to play.  I don’t spend a great deal of time watching it on TV, it is just too much fun to be outdoors playing instead.  Oh, I do follow the majors and my absolute favorite is the Masters.

This year the tournament gave people an opportunity to submit their names online into a sort of lottery for tickets.  Now, this has always been one of my dreams to attend this tournament in person.  To walk down the fairways following the likes of Phil Mickelson, Tiger Woods or one of the other greats would be a dream come true.

I submitted my name and waited patiently for the results.  Low and behold, I got the email telling me that I had not been selected.  I was a bit disappointed, but figured it was the luck of the draw.

Recently, I decided that I had to see if I could get tickets from another source.  I have some vacation time coming and I figured, if I can get tickets, I’m going.  Low and behold, I found a website where I can buy tickets to the Masters Tournament for the week or just one day.  The best part is, I can afford them.  I had always been told that it would cost an arm and a leg.
